🚨BIG NEWS FOR ELMIRA HOCKEY! 🚨
The Elmira Hockey Club is thrilled to announce we are exploring a brand-new expansion: a Modified (Grades 7–8) Team for the upcoming season!
This team will compete in the newly formed BCHSHA Modified Developmental Division (Broome County High School Hockey Association), serving as a direct developmental pathway to our Elmira Varsity Club team.
Who Is Eligible?
We are looking for players in 7th and 8th grade from the following approved school districts:
Elmira
Horseheads
Corning
...and surrounding areas!
How Does the Season Work?
Don't worry about calendar conflicts! This program is designed to run alongside current travel and Snowbelt seasons, giving your skater maximum development without making them choose between teams.

We are currently gauging interest and working to build our roster. If your player is ready to hit the ice and represent Elmira at the modified level, we want to hear from you!

More than just teammates
What makes the Elmira Hockey Club truly special is the family-like connection our team shares. Our players come from all different schools in the district, forging new friendships and building incredible trust and teamwork. By the end of the season, they all feel more like family than just teammates. We want the community to see that this program allows local athletes, who might not otherwise have the opportunity, to play high school club hockey and compete against some amazing teams.
Championship legacy
We are incredibly proud of our team's accomplishments! The 2024-2025 Elmira Hockey Club made history by winning the championship title for the Broome County High School Hockey Association. This was a monumental moment, as the team had never won the league championship in previous years. It's a testament to their dedication, hard work, and the strong bonds they've built.
